Node Group is a London-based scaffold design consultancy. Our team of specialist engineers delivers bespoke 2D drawings, 3D models and structural calculations for heritage, commercial and residential projects across the capital.
Node Group is based in Walthamstow, East London. Our team of 10 engineers has delivered over 5,000 scaffold designs across the capital — from heritage buildings in Kensington to high-rise commercial towers in Canary Wharf. We design for scaffold contractors, main contractors and developers who need more than a generic drawing.
Every project receives a full 3D model as standard. Not as an optional extra, not as an upsell — as part of the core deliverable. Our engineers build the scaffold digitally before it goes on site, catching clashes, confirming clearances and giving the erection team a complete visual reference alongside the 2D construction drawings and structural calculations.
You speak directly to the engineer designing your scaffold. No sales desk, no project manager relay, no call centre. The person who takes your brief is the person who produces your design.
Fully tailored designs for complex geometry, restricted access, heritage constraints and non-standard loading. Full structural calculations included on every project.
Freestanding solutions for listed buildings and protected structures where ties into historic fabric are not permitted. Proven experience with Grade I and Grade II* buildings across London.
Every project receives detailed 2D construction drawings, a complete 3D model and full structural calculations. 3D models are standard on every design, not an optional extra.
Fully insured independent design verification. The highest level of design checking for complex temporary works projects. Required on high-risk scaffolds across London.
Node Group has designed scaffold on some of London's most complex and high-profile buildings. Our London portfolio spans heritage restoration, commercial access, temporary protection and high-rise projects.
Node Group serves scaffold contractors, main contractors and developers across the whole of London from our Walthamstow base:
It varies by complexity. A straightforward tube and fitting access scaffold is a different proposition to a complex heritage design or full temporary roof. We quote on a per-project basis after reviewing the brief. Every design includes full structural calculations and a 3D model as standard — there are no hidden extras.
Yes. Heritage scaffold design is a core part of our work. We have designed scaffold for Grade I listed buildings including the Royal Albert Hall and LSO St Luke's, and Grade II* buildings including Woolwich Town Hall. Where ties into historic fabric are not permitted, we design freestanding scaffold solutions with engineered stability systems.
All of London. We are based in Walthamstow, East London, and our project portfolio covers the full spread of the capital — from Westminster to Canary Wharf, Vauxhall to Old Street, Kensington to Woolwich. We also cover the wider South East of England.
It depends on the project. Our Royal Albert Hall design went from brief to handover in 2 weeks. Simpler access scaffolds can be faster; complex heritage or temporary roof projects take longer. We are upfront about timescales from the first conversation.
